This song is about being in my own head so much to the point that people point it out and ask me if I’m doing OK. I often zone out and unintentionally disregard my surroundings. This is the last song I wrote for the album. It was originally going to be the title track with the chorus screaming ‘Modern mistakes”. I figured most people wouldn’t be able to hear it or understand it (since I don’t really understand it myself) so I figured this would be easier to sing along with. Being mainly a drummer I like to write percussive rock n’ roll riffs that have a lot of punch and really lock in tight with the drums.
